What is MyQueerSapphFic?
MyQueerSapphFic began life as MyLesfic, a website and weekly newsletter originally created by Harper Bliss and Caroline Manchoulas of Ladylit Publishing. Because women loving women (WLW)/Sapphic themed fiction was either left out of other newsletter services or inconveniently lumped together with gay fiction, they decided to create their own mailing list service, solely catering to WLW fiction readers and writers. In mid-2019, Harper and Caroline passed MyLesfic on to Anne Hagan and Erin Hodgson, who seek to continue providing fantastic deals for readers and authors alike. In 2022 Anne and Erin changed the name of the service to MyQueerSapphFic to better reflect the diversity of the community the site and newsletter serve. How far in advance should I submit?
We send out a newsletter every Friday, so do submit at least 1 week in advance, but no longer than 2 months before your requested listing date.
How long does it take for a submission to be reviewed?
Books generally go through our selection process in a few business days.

4. If accepted, we send your book to our growing list of eager WLW/Sapphic fiction readers.

What if my submission gets rejected?
While we would love to include every book, MQueerSapphFic does reserve the right to reject any book for any reason. If your listing isn’t selected this time and you’d like to resubmit your book for consideration in the future, please wait at least 1 month before reapplying.
How can I increase my chances of being accepted?

Can I run the same book again?
Yes, but only every 90 days.
Do you accept new releases?
Yes, just tick the New Release box in the submission form. We accept discounted new release books at all times, and run one to two full-priced new release promotion slots weekly.
Beginning in December of 2021, because of increases in new releases and demand for newsletter slots, priority for placement in the main newsletter will be given to one to two new releases priced at $4.99 or less. We will begin running a monthly new release newsletter containing all other new releases.
What happens if I’m not able to discount my book on the day the listing goes out?
If your book is not at the agreed price at a certain retailer, we will only list those retailers where the deal is available. If your book price is not at the agreed price at any of the retailers that day, the listing will not be included in the MyLesfic email. In these circumstances, we are unable to give refunds or reschedule your listing. It’s up to you to make sure the agreed price is already set on retailer sites before we send out promotional emails.
Can I cancel or reschedule a listing?
We are unable to guarantee refunds if you cancel your order less than 7 days before your feature is scheduled to run. If you think you might have a problem with your promotion in advance (eg. retailer issues beyond your control), contact us as soon as possible and we’ll try to find a solution that makes everyone happy.
